About me
The real name is Jim Fitzpatrick but over the last few years Boomatang has become my online persona which is not a bad thing I guess. The problem with using Jim Fitzpatrick is that's also the name of the artist who painted the "Che Guevara" poster.
In the last few years I have been transitioning from a career as a draftsman to that of a programmer. From my past experiences my view and out look of life is very different than most. Which is not a bad thing, just different.
Where in life
Currently in a good part of life. Living in Waterford city which is in the south east of Ireland and most impotently the beach is only half an hour away. I do miss the sounds of the country side.
For work I was lucky to land a job at Red Hat based in Waterford and the office is only 15 minutes from the house. The work is challenging in a different way from my past lives. There will be a post a some point comparing the two.
